    Obesity is an issue that many adults in the US are faced with. According to recent CDC research, one third lifestyle can lead to a wide variety of health problems including diabetes and heart disease. Being overweight can also lower a person's quality of life.
    Most adults would like to lose weight, but getting healthy have been conditioned into their lifestyle from an early age. You may have had a parent who told you to "clean your plate" at every meal, destroying your concept of portion control. The way a person eats is also heavily intertwined with their psychological condition, especially in relation to how they use food to deal with stress.  Early childhood experiences can be an example of this. Or a grandmother's unconditional love. The disappearance of a beloved relative. The accidental death of a child's father. 
    Parents who were too busy with their own lives and careers forgetting about the daughter they shared. Looking for love in all the wrong places. Keeping secrets. All these things can influence a person's psyche and cause them to begin eating in order to fill voids and cure their loneliness, sadness and frustration.
